Case of the Week – 11/27/11 – Foley v. Town of Randolph

Chief Foley of the Randolph, Massachusetts Fire Department was angry when two children died in a fire in his town. He told reporters about his belief that budget cuts had affected his Department’s ability to fight the fire. When the Board of Selectman suspended him for 15 days because of his comments, he sued.
